• The Monstera Thai Constellation with Sectoral Variegation is a highly sought after variegated Monstera. The creamy whitish yellow variegation of the leaves lack chlorophyll pigment, which means that these sections cannot photosynthesize. Compared to the Monstera Albo, the Thai Constellation has an overall speckled appearance - resembling a starry night sky, hence the name "Constellation."
• Fun Fact : The Thai Constellation was originally developed in a tissue culture laboratory in Thailand. Costa Farms, one of the largest houseplant growers in the world, was supposed to release a very affordable Thai Constellation in 2021, in the midst of the covid lockdown. A few plants were trial-released in a few states, but they have ultimately delayed the nationwide launch.
